STL and Netomnia Join Forces to Upgrade UK’s Full-Fibre Network

In a significant step towards improving connectivity across the UK, STL (NSE: STLTECH) has announced an expansion of its partnership with Netomnia, the country’s second-largest alternative network provider. Advancements in Full-Fibre Connectivity

Netomnia is rapidly deploying a native 10 Gbps XGS-PON full-fibre network that promises high-performance and scalability. Notably, this partnership has enabled Netomnia to service approximately 2.8 million premises, with around 400,000 already connected. The ambitious goal is to reach 3 million serviceable premises by the end of 2025 and hit 5 million by 2027, thereby reshaping the broadband landscape in the UK.

This innovation enhances duct utilization while minimizing material consumption and reducing the overall carbon footprint. By integrating these advanced technologies, STL is equipped to assist Netomnia in accelerating the rollout speed, thereby decreasing the total cost of ownership (TCO) of their network.
