MyGolfSpy Secures Strategic Investment with Graham Sports Partnership

In a notable development within the golf media industry, MyGolfSpy, a renowned independent testing platform for golf equipment, recently confirmed its strategic investment backed by Graham Sports & Entertainment Partners and Bolt Ventures. Confirmed on August 17, 2026, WeBrokr, acting as the exclusive sell-side advisor, facilitated this significant transaction that marks an important step for MyGolfSpy's future growth. The formal announcement of the closing, which took place in May 2026, was made on July 23, 2026.

Founded in 2008 by Adam Beach in Yorktown, Virginia, MyGolfSpy has consistently emerged as a leader in providing unbiased and trustworthy golf equipment tests over the past fifteen years. Its operational strategy focuses on a proprietary in-house testing facility equipped with advanced simulators, supplemented by contributions from over 300 volunteer testers. Through its innovative frameworks, namely the "Most Wanted" and "Tested Approved," MyGolfSpy has established itself as a significant reference point within the golf community.

Under the aegis of the newly formed Pin High Golf, this partnership aims to enhance MyGolfSpy's operations dramatically. Adam Beach remains at the helm as Founder and CEO, benefitting from the valuable capital and operative support that Pin High Golf offers. The investment is directed towards expanding MyGolfSpy’s testing capacity while scaling video content, affiliate commerce, and strengthening relationships with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and retailers in the golf sector. Furthermore, it plans selective acquisitions across the golf media landscape, enhancing both data and consumer experiences.

Logan Abner, the Founder of WeBrokr, shared insights into the deal, stating, “Golf has always been the sport closest to my heart, and MyGolfSpy was one of those rare deals where you feel a personal stake in getting the outcome right for the founder. Adam Beach built something genuinely special.” He elaborated on the challenge presented during the merger and acquisition process, noting that the traditional digital media acquirers often lack deep expertise in golf, whilst golf industry acquirers do not fully grasp the digital media landscape. He believed that the collaboration of Graham Sports and Bolt Ventures was unique in its ability to bridge this gap effectively.

The collaboration with Bolt and GSE has empowered MyGolfSpy to accelerate its mission and broaden its technological capabilities. Shervin Mirhashemi, Co-Founder and CEO of Graham Sports & Entertainment, remarked that Pin High Golf serves as the vehicle to scale MyGolfSpy into a central asset within an independent media platform focused on golf.

Adding to the excitement, David Blitzer described MyGolfSpy as a category-defining brand marked by a distinct data asset and a highly engaged audience. This investment not only validates MyGolfSpy's leading role in the golf media industry but also underscores the increasing interest in independent platforms that prioritize authenticity and data-driven insights.

As the transaction progresses, the golf community eagerly anticipates the enhancements that MyGolfSpy will bring to the table. With solid backing and a visionary leadership team, MyGolfSpy is poised to redefine standards in golf equipment testing, ensuring that golfers benefit from reliable and impartial evaluations as they navigate their gear choices.

MyGolfSpy's journey exemplifies the dynamic interplay between traditional sports and innovative technology in today's media landscape, making it a noteworthy case study in the evolution of sports journalism and consumer engagement in the golf sector.
