Huawei Reveals Enhanced Xinghe AI Fabric 2.0 Solution at MWC 2026

Huawei Unveils the Enhanced Xinghe AI Fabric 2.0 Solution

At the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, taking place in March 2026, Huawei made a significant announcement regarding its improved Xinghe AI Fabric 2.0 solution. This innovative offering is tailored to meet the demands of the AI era, providing robust enhancements for enterprise networking.

During the keynote address, Arthur Wang, head of the Data Center Network Domain at Huawei, emphasized the transformative journey of data center networks. Originally focused on virtualization and cloud solutions, the industry is now rapidly transitioning into a phase driven by artificial intelligence. The Xinghe AI Fabric 2.0 is architected on a three-layer framework comprising AI Brain, AI Connectivity, and AI Network Elements, integrating four vital capabilities:

1. Rock-Solid Architecture 2.0: This feature guarantees three tiers of high reliability, supported by the AI Eagle-Eye Engine.
2. StarryWing Digital Map 2.0: This provides three levels of automation via NetMaster.
3. Xinghuan AI Turbo 2.0: It aids in Network Packet Load Balancing (NPLB) and Network Stream Load Balancing (NSLB).
4. iFlashboot 2.0: Boasting rapid restart capabilities, enabling ultra-fast reboots within five seconds.

These innovations empower organizations to establish AI-agent enabled data center networks that are consistently available and equipped with full computational power.

In addition to the software advancements, Huawei unveiled the first commercially available 51.2T (128 × 400GE) liquid-cooled switch in the sector, known as the CloudEngine XH9230-128DQ-LC. This groundbreaking product offers 100% liquid cooling for optical modules, achieving significantly enhanced heat dissipation efficiency—twice that of the industry average. Furthermore, this switch supports the deployment of up to eight switches per rack, doubling the rack's utility.

Huawei also introduced a comprehensive range of 800GE/400GE StarryLink optical modules, characterized by reliability levels that are two times higher than industry norms, allowing for ultra-long transmission distances.

The Huawei booth at the event featured a complete lineup of 800GE products, including:
  • - CloudEngine modular switches from the XH16800 series, accommodating up to 768 × 800GE ports.
  • - CloudEngine XH9330 switch, a fixed configuration offering with 128 × 800GE ports.
  • - CloudEngine XH9320 switch, configured with 64 × 800GE ports.

This showcase reinforced Huawei's leadership in delivering high-density networking solutions. As part of its commitment to fostering open cooperation, Huawei aims to deepen technological innovations in data center networks while promoting intelligent upgrades going forward. By collaborating with global customers and partners, the company is poised to engineer joint innovations that enhance value for both clients and industries.

Huawei continues to set the pace in the market, demonstrating its dedication to advancing technology in the data communication sector. The launch of the enhanced Xinghe AI Fabric 2.0 and associated products signifies a pivotal moment in the evolution of smart data networks, reflecting the company’s vision for the future amidst the AI revolution.
