This crucial financing pushes Dream's valuation to an impressive $3 billion within just three years since its inception. Co-founded by visionaries including Shalev Hulio and former Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz, the company focuses on providing governments and critical infrastructures the tools needed to own and control their AI technologies.

The funding round, co-led by Bicycle Capital and Group 11, saw participation from various notable investors such as Bain Capital Ventures and Tru Arrow Partners, among others. This influx of capital follows an impressive track record of securing nearly $300 million in contracts since launching commercial operations in late 2024. With this new funding, Dream aims to expedite the deployment of its pioneering AI and cyber defense solutions across Europe, Asia, the Americas, and the Middle East.

For decades, governmental investments have primarily focused on physical infrastructures like roads and power grids, which have been the backbone of economic growth and national security. Now, with the critical emergence of artificial intelligence into the mix, governments face pressing challenges—not just on how to utilize AI but on who controls it. Most governments currently depend on AI systems developed by foreign corporations, leading to a lack of control over technology that sustains national interests. This dependency raises concerns about potential restrictions or interruptions in access.

Shalev Hulio, the CEO of Dream, passionately articulates this fundamental dilemma: "Artificial intelligence will create the next super nations. Every nation has data, but few have the means to protect it, and even fewer can leverage it effectively. That’s where sovereign AI becomes crucial. To address these issues, Dream has developed three innovative platforms, each designed to tackle specific needs in national security and data management.

1. Sphere: A comprehensive solution aimed at defending against nation-state cyber threats, Sphere integrates cyber intelligence with advanced analysis and detection systems into a unified defense infrastructure. This tool is instrumental for governments and operators of critical infrastructures.

2. Hero: This autonomous AI security researcher continually evaluates systems for vulnerabilities, anticipating threats and proactively reinforcing defenses. By mimicking adversary behavior, Hero can compellingly uphold government cybersecurity.

3. Atlas: The centerpiece of Dream’s offerings, Atlas facilitates the connection of fragmented government data and its transformation into structured knowledge. This platform empowers governments to operate AI models entirely within secure environments they control.

The collective goal of these platforms is to provide governments with the tools to secure and navigate their most vital asset: information.
