This exciting chance to enjoy Halloween fun with your little ones is brought to you by A&B Holdings Co., Ltd., the operator of the only kids park in the world themed around Eric Carle’s beloved creation, the Hungry Caterpillar. This special workshop will take place in October 2025, right in time for Halloween season. Moreover, visitors who come in costume between October 11th and 31st will receive exclusive Halloween stickers!

Special Halloween Workshop: Create Your Own “Hungry Ghost”

On October 20th and 31st, children of all ages starting from 0 years old can join the “Hungry Ghost” workshop. Participants can choose from various textured white fabrics to craft their personalized ghost, adorned with decorations inspired by the sweets the Hungry Caterpillar ate in the beloved book—think ice creams and candies! The fun continues as kids can pull their ghosts along and explore the park while on the lookout for delicious treats with their new ghost friends!

Limited-Time Popular Workshop: Hungry Caterpillar’s Candy Art - Halloween Edition

For those aged 3 and up, don't miss the chance to partake in the popular workshop hosted by renowned candy artist Mrs. Candy G. During Halloween, this workshop will feature special decorations to create candy in the shape of the Hungry Caterpillar!

Workshop Details:

- Dates: October 11th (Saturday), October 25th (Saturday)
- Target Age: 3 years and up
- Reservation: Available on the day of the event, first-come, first-served basis at the venue
- Fee: 660 yen for sessions 1 and 2 per candy, session 3 free (Entry fee applies)

Exclusive Halloween Stickers for Costumed Guests!

From October 11th to 31st, visitors in costume will receive a limited edition Halloween sticker as a gift. You can choose from simple accessories to full ‘Hungry Caterpillar’ themed outfits! Halloween Events at Related Facility “PLAY! PARK” in Tokyo

Families can also enjoy Halloween events at the “PLAY! PARK” located in Tachikawa, Tokyo, from October 14th to 31st, 2025. Participants can engage in family fun activities including “Candy Live” and a “Crawling Race” for a quirky Halloween experience. Check the official site for details.

Daily Workshops for All Ages at PLAY! PARK ERIC CARLE

In addition to the special Halloween workshops, PLAY! PARK ERIC CARLE offers a diverse range of daily workshops. Inspired by Eric Carle’s books, workshops include “Let’s PLAY! PAPER,” where kids can involved in hands-on art projects, and “PLAY! PAPER! BABY!” which allows even the youngest of artists to experiment with paint. Additionally, there’s “PLAY! SPORTS!” managed by current gymnastics coaches tailored to various age groups.
