The Vision Behind BODYBAR Pilates Edmond

The Edmond studio is owned and operated by sisters Lyndsie Oathout and Mallory Sapp, who are thrilled to bring BODYBAR Pilates to their home state. Lyndsie, a former founding member of BODYBAR Pilates West Wichita, grew to love Pilates not just for the workout but for the community it fosters. After becoming a sales associate and instructor, she began envisioning studio ownership.

Mallory, living in Edmond and having a background in sales at Our Blood Institute, decided to join forces with her sister to establish Oklahoma’s first BODYBAR studio. They plan to offer a welcoming atmosphere where everyone can experience the transformative power of Pilates.

“BODYBAR Pilates has provided me with healing and personal growth, making this venture all the more special,” said Lyndsie. “We are passionate about cultivating an empowering environment where our members can thrive and feel their best.”

Facilities and Offerings

BODYBAR Pilates Edmond will span an impressive 2,800 square feet, equipped with 14 state-of-the-art Reformers and a dedicated room for personalized one-on-one training sessions. The studio will facilitate various community events, fostering collaboration among local businesses and wellness professionals.

Believing in the power of Pilates, the workouts at BODYBAR are designed with all fitness levels in mind. Classes aim to enhance strength, balance, mobility, and overall well-being, all led by certified instructors who will guide participants through effective exercises tailored to their needs.

“We are thrilled to foster our community while bringing our innovative Pilates approach to Oklahoma,” expressed Kamille McCollum, chief brand officer and co-founder of BODYBAR Pilates. The company is rapidly expanding across the nation, already boasting over 81 studios and aiming to launch another 60 in 2026.

With continuous growth and a commitment to providing a unique fitness experience, BODYBAR Pilates Edmond is set to make waves in Oklahoma’s health and wellness landscape.
