Experience the Luxurious Kanazawa New Year Cuisine at Nihonbashi Asada Restaurant

Indulge in Luxurious Kanazawa Cuisine This New Year at Nihonbashi Asada

As the New Year approaches, Mitsui Garden Hotel Nihonbashi Premier invites guests to immerse themselves in an unforgettable culinary experience at the Kaga cuisine restaurant, Nihonbashi Asada. Located on the ninth floor of the hotel, this dining establishment offers unique seasonal menus crafted to celebrate the festive season.

A Taste of Tradition with Luxury Osechi

The restaurant showcases a lavish osechi, a traditional Japanese New Year's feast, that captures the essence of Kanazawa. With over 350 years of culinary heritage, the creators of this osechi blend artistry and craftsmanship in every layer. Ingredients symbolic of prosperity, such as lobster, abalone, and prized black cod, are meticulously prepared by skilled chefs, providing a sensational dining experience.

The osechi is available in three luxurious assortments:
  • - 135,000 yen (including tax) for the most extravagant three-tiered box, featuring an exquisite selection of seafood delicacies that can only be found here.
  • - 64,800 yen (including tax) for a two-tiered box filled with seasonal treasures from both land and sea, showcasing the rich flavors of the Kaga region.
  • - 37,800 yen (including tax) for a delightful assortment that highlights local specialties, making it a perfect choice for those looking to enjoy classic Kanazawa flavors.

Reservations for the osechi are open until December 12, 2025, with pick-up scheduled for December 31, 2025. For more details, visit Nihonbashi Asada Osechi.

Winter Delights: Crab-Kaiseki Cuisine

In addition to the osechi, starting November 7, 2025, guests can indulge in the winter-exclusive kaiseki featuring crab, one of Japan's most beloved winter delicacies. This special menu becomes available right after the crab fishing season opens in Ishikawa Prefecture, ensuring only the freshest ingredients are served.

Enjoy an array of dishes prepared using the freshest crabs from Kaga's ports, presented with artistic flair. From boiled to grilled, steamed, and even baked in their shells, patrons can relish various preparations of winter's finest catch, including Shoko crab (female snow crab) and Zuwai crab (snow crab).

This exquisite winter dining experience will be available from November 7, 2025, until January 31, 2026, with options priced at 55,000 yen and 71,500 yen (taxes included, service charge not included). Discover more at the Kani Zukushi Kaiseki.
