TransTech Group Expands Presence in India Through Acquisition of Teknoflow

In a strategic move to enhance its global footprint, TransTech Group has announced the acquisition of a controlling interest in Teknoflow Green Equipments Private Limited. This acquisition not only signifies a long-term partnership with the founding family of Teknoflow but also establishes a manufacturing platform in India, aiming to bolster its engineered products offerings across various markets.

Strengthening Global Manufacturing

TransTech's acquisition is set to significantly enhance its Engineered Products Group by integrating Teknoflow's extensive manufacturing capabilities based in Nashik, India. Founded in 1989, Teknoflow specializes in the design and manufacture of engineered process equipment, including pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and modular process skids, catering to OEMs and EPC firms operating in the energy and industrial sectors.

The establishment of a manufacturing facility in India marks a pivotal point for TransTech in terms of diversifying production capabilities and expanding into new markets. The company's Chairman and CEO, Jeff Berlin, expressed enthusiasm for aligning with Teknoflow, highlighting the shared values of both organizations centered around strong family cultures and customer commitment.

Advantages of the Acquisition

TransTech's partnership with Teknoflow is complemented by over 180,000 square feet of manufacturing space ready to harness engineering proficiency for delivering code-compliant equipment that meets international standards. The collaboration promises to enhance TransTech's ability to support customers through reliable manufacturing solutions spanning multiple regions, ultimately solidifying its position within the global markets.

Laxman Pachkawade, Founder and CEO of Teknoflow, echoed the excitement of joining forces with TransTech, stating, “The partnership will enable us to leverage expanded technical resources and global customer relationships while maintaining our customer-centric approach under the same leadership.”

With operations extending across the U.S., Europe, and now India, TransTech currently boasts over 800,000 square feet of fabrication capacity distributed across 14 locations. This extensive network allows the company to engage in various projects supported by robust manufacturing and service capabilities, ensuring timely and quality delivery.

Looking Ahead

As Teknoflow becomes part of TransTech's Engineered Products Group, it is expected to accelerate growth through enhanced collaboration and resource sharing. With Teknoflow's established presence in more than 25 countries and certifications including ISO 9001 and AD 2000 compliance, the partnership sets a promising trajectory for TransTech’s international growth strategy.

In conclusion, this acquisition signifies not only a strategic expansion for TransTech Group but also a commitment to delivering quality engineered solutions for energy and industrial infrastructure markets worldwide. The collaboration marks a promising new chapter for both companies as they work together to bolster their manufacturing capabilities and customer service commitments across global markets.
