2025 T&D Insurance Group Scholarship Recipients Announced

On August 20, 2025, the Japan Philanthropic Foundation, based in Minato Ward, Tokyo, under the leadership of its Executive Director Kazuhisa Kishimoto, announced the selection of five scholarship recipients for the "T&D Insurance Group Student Support Fund - Embrace a Try & Discover Life."

The chosen scholars are first-year students from the following universities:

• - Kyushu University
• - Seinan Gakuin University
• - Nihon University
• - Yokohama National University
• - Waseda University

About the Scholarship Fund

The T&D Insurance Group Student Support Fund was established with donations from T&D Holdings, Inc., aimed at reducing the financial burdens faced by students who have lost their parents due to illness or accidents. Many students who have experienced the loss of a parent often grapple with both economic and emotional hardships. This scholarship provides crucial support to ensure that they can pursue their university education without added financial stress.

The fund provides scholarships for a duration of up to four years, helping students navigate their academic journey during such a challenging phase of their lives.
