This service will be available at various stores nationwide until the final business day of the year. Purpose of the Cleaning Service

Founded on the belief that children should have access to truly excellent products, Tsuchiya Kaban has delivered over 1 million backpacks to children throughout Japan. This free cleaning service aims to support families and ensure that children can comfortably use their backpacks for the entire six years of elementary school. By extending this after-sales service, Tsuchiya Kaban builds a long-lasting relationship with its customers.

How the Cleaning Service Works

The cleaning will take place at the store's service counter, where staff will personally handle the cleaning of each backpack right in front of the customers. The entire process takes around 30 minutes, and it is essential to make a reservation beforehand.

Note: Some locations will start carrying 'grirose' products from the same day.

Cleaning Services Offered

The cleaning professionals will employ various techniques to clean the backpacks: brushing, dry wiping, and using specially formulated cleansers to remove dirt. They will ensure that not only the outer surfaces are cleaned, but inside the backpack, such as stubborn pencil marks, will be addressed as well. Even areas that may not look dirty at first glance, like the belt and pockets, will be checked for accumulated debris using specialized brushes.

Please note that for certain stains caused by permanent markers or due to wear over time, complete removal may not be possible, so customers should have realistic expectations.

During the cleaning service, the staff can also assist with adjusting the shoulder straps according to the child's growth. It's essential for both comfort and backpack durability over time.
