Zoff and Kokuyo’s Environmental Initiative



In an exciting cross-industry collaboration, Zoff, the well-known eyewear brand operated by Intermestic, has partnered with Kokuyo, the leader in stationery products, to introduce a special project focusing on sustainability and resource circulation. This initiative aligns with Kokuyo's “SUTENAI CIRCLE” concept, which emphasizes eco-friendly production conscious of the environment. Together, they have developed the exclusive Zoff x Campus original notebook, utilizing lens packaging paper that will be distributed as a limited-time novelty for students at Zoff stores nationwide, starting February 2, 2026.

The Upcycling Process


This project marks the first significant step in their upcycling initiative, transforming used lens packaging into something with new value. By creatively reincorporating the collecting packaging into the notebook's cover, both companies not only showcase their commitment to resource recycling but also set a precedent for future sustainable actions. The project reflects Zoff's brand strategy, Eye Performance, which aims to evolve into a next-generation brand that addresses societal issues and promotes sustainable societal development through innovative business models.

Details of the Notebook Release


The Zoff x Campus notebook will be distributed exclusively to students who make a purchase at Zoff stores, available only while supplies last. This campaign aligns with the start of a new academic term and the examination season, demonstrating Zoff's commitment to supporting students as they prepare for their future. The distribution is targeted towards customers aged 18 and under, or those 19 and older who can show their student ID.

Unique Features of the Zoff x Campus Notebook


1. Special Cover Material from Lens Packaging
Each notebook has a cover made from recycled lens packaging paper, which typically would end up discarded. The blue logo of Zoff, preserved during the recycling process, adds a unique texture and aesthetic to the note.

2. User-Friendly Design
The design prioritizes the qualities of the recycled paper, with minimal coloring to reflect its natural texture. Featuring the Husky dog logo, a symbol of Zoff, the notebook strikes a balance between visual appeal and everyday usability.

The inside cover contains resources focused on maintaining eye health, including relaxing exercises for eye care and interactive activities featuring a donut-shaped vision test pattern. Each piece of collected packaging is sorted, dissolved in water, and transformed into new recycled paper.
