220,000 pre-registered overseas buyers from
197 countries and regions.
The Canton Fair isn't just any trade show; it is a showcase of progress, innovation, and an evolving manufacturing landscape. Celebrating its
70th anniversary, this year's fair will focus on themes of
innovation,
intelligence, and an increased emphasis on
quality and specialization. Nearly
80% of attendees are commercial buyers, highlighting the serious business focus of the event.
Innovation and Sustainability at the Core
A noteworthy aspect of this year's fair is its commitment to
environmentally friendly manufacturing. Approximately
23.2% of the exhibitors will showcase new eco-friendly products, the highest representation to date. This reflects a broader shift in the Chinese manufacturing sector towards sustainable practices.
Additionally, over
64% of exhibitors are implementing technologies from the
Industrial Internet and
Artificial Intelligence (AI) into their operations, carving a path for a smarter future. The integration of these technologies extends even to the event's logistics, with organizers introducing
22 intelligent application scenarios and
16 AI functions that will enhance the attendee experience throughout the fair.
A Pioneering Digital Experience
For the first time in the history of the Canton Fair, detailed navigation services will be available for more than
75,000 booths, giving exhibitors and buyers a unique experience in finding their way around the massive venue. This includes advanced
AR information displays, a feature that sets the Canton Fair apart from other industry events. Such innovations signify a major step forward in the digitization of trade shows, catering to the needs of modern business exchange.
With a focus on streamlining trading activities, the fair will cover all
10 service categories essential for producers, from
logistics and storage to
design and R&D, making it a comprehensive platform for businesses looking to expand internationally.
A Platform for Engagement
This season, there will be over
700 events centered on new product presentations, showcasing a
15% increase in debuts from the previous year. The introduction of the
New Collection Gallery aims to foster connections between suppliers and buyers, enhancing networking opportunities.
In a bid to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration, seven high-profile forums will address key themes such as market expansion, risk mitigation, trend analysis, and innovation encouragement. Zhu Yong, the General Director of the China Foreign Trade Centre, emphasized the aim to create a service ecosystem encompassing the entire supply chain, ensuring an enriched experience for all participants.
To sum up, the 140th Canton Fair represents not only a significant convergence for international trade but also a leading example of innovation in trade show practices. As the event approaches, it promises to elevate the global trade experience to new heights.
