ZYT Unveils Its European Strategy at IAA Mobility Event in Munich
ZYT's European Debut at IAA Mobility 2025
On September 8, 2025, ZYT (ZHUOYU Technology) marked its entry into Europe by participating in the IAA Mobility 2025 held in Munich, Germany. This prestigious automotive event provided ZYT with a platform to introduce its comprehensive European strategy to a global audience, emphasizing the company's commitment to the European market.
Establishing Roots in Germany
A pivotal aspect of ZYT's strategy is the establishment of a German subsidiary located in Braunschweig, a city recognized as a key center for the automotive industry. This strategic positioning enables ZYT to enhance its localization efforts in Europe and tailor its services to meet local demands. Nils Oldemeyer has been appointed to lead this new branch, and under his guidance, ZYT aims to quickly build a multifunctional team that encompasses research and development, testing, and business development. This diverse team is designed to effectively respond to the intricate needs of the European market and foster closer collaborations with leading European car manufacturers.
Focused on Intelligent Driving Solutions
At the core of ZYT's offerings are advanced intelligent driving solutions. The company has pledged to prioritize collaboration with prominent car makers in Europe, addressing the growing need for affordable and efficient driving solutions. As part of its product rollout, ZYT plans to introduce Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and scalable autonomous driving solutions in various phases, focusing on achieving compliance with EU regulations. This will involve deploying systems that range from Level 2 driving assistance to Level 3 and Level 4 autonomy.
In addition to vehicle automation, ZYT is set to launch intelligent cockpit solutions and next-generation perception modules, including systems that integrate LiDAR and cameras. These innovative technologies will further augment ZYT’s product portfolio, positioning the company to leverage the burgeoning European automotive market.
Showcasing Technological Innovations
The IAA event saw ZYT unveiling several technological advancements in four carefully designed exhibition areas. One highlight was the display of the integrated LiDAR-vision detection solution, "Jimu 2.0," which achieves millisecond synchronization between LiDAR and cameras via an innovative "front fusion" algorithm. Furthermore, the ultra-wide field of view short-range LiDAR named "ZHIZHOU" was showcased, aimed particularly at eliminating blind spots.
The domain controller area featured a groundbreaking solution utilizing NVIDIA's DRIVE AGX Thor chip, capable of handling complex scenarios in real-time. Another innovative product presented was the integrated controller for cabin and drive functionalities, developed with Qualcomm, which merges two critical functions using a single chip and significantly reduces costs.
A drone system that supports dynamic takeoffs and landings, along with smart tracking capabilities, made its European debut within ZYT's exhibition—adding to the examples of ZYT's contributions to smart mobility.
Collaboration with Volkswagen
A significant aspect of ZYT's participation was its collaboration with Volkswagen to enhance the IQ.Pilot assisted driving system. ZYT made history as the first Chinese supplier to successfully pass a joint audit with Volkswagen's subsidiaries, underlining its commitment to advancing intelligent driving capabilities. Through this partnership, ZYT aims to support Volkswagen's strategy of "Equal Intelligence for ICE and EV Vehicles" and contribute to the future of innovative driving systems.
Looking to the Future
During the event, ZYT hosted a series of technical discussions that brought together global industry partners to explore the future of smart mobility. Notably, MA Lu, ZYT's Chief Technology Officer, highlighted the company’s strategic collaborations with leading technology firms, including Qualcomm and NVIDIA. These partnerships facilitate the transition from technological innovation to scalable commercialization.
Through ongoing collaborations and the integration of cutting-edge technologies, like generative AI, ZYT is poised to make significant strides in rolling out intelligent driving systems that range from Level 2 to Level 4 autonomy.
The introduction of the Hongqi Tiangong 05, which underwent extensive road testing in Munich, exemplifies ZYT’s readiness to operate in complex European driving conditions and showcases its robust technology.
As ZYT endeavors to establish a lasting presence in Europe, its strategy signals not only the company's commitment to innovation but also highlights an industry-wide effort to harness partnerships for an enhanced smart mobility ecosystem. The participation in IAA Mobility 2025 is a testament to ZYT's determination to lead transformative initiatives in the global automotive sector.
