In a recent announcement, Viettel was awarded rights to utilize a substantial spectrum by the Dominican Republic’s Institute for Telecommunications (INDOTEL), providing it with the foundational resources to set up modern 4G and 5G networks across the nation. The approval includes access to 240 MHz of spectrum in the 700 MHz, 2.3 GHz, and 3.6 GHz bands.
