The launch marks a strategic move as ChangAn deepens its engagement with European consumers by integrating local talent and collaborating with regional partners. The company has introduced a fully integrated European ecosystem that spans research, manufacturing, supply chain, sales, and operations. New Product Line-Up


At the launch event, ChangAn showcased the DEEPAL S07, which made its debut in Europe, alongside upcoming models like the CHANG-AN E07 and DEEPAL S05. With a focus on cutting-edge technology in smart mobility and electrification, ChangAn is poised to cater to the growing European demand for high-performance electric vehicles.

Global R&D Efforts


ChangAn's technological innovations are recognized worldwide, thanks to a global collaborative R&D system encompassing six countries and ten enterprises. The company boasts over 18,000 R&D professionals spread across 31 countries and regions. This extensive network includes 16 technological research and product development centers, 17 technology firms, and 180 laboratories, which pair to position ChangAn as a significant player in the European EV landscape.

Market Entry Strategy


As part of its strategy, ChangAn is initially focusing on key electric vehicle markets such as Norway, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, and the UK. The company aims to expand its presence across all major European markets by 2028. Its European headquarters in the Netherlands will serve as a business operations center, while a sales headquarters has recently opened in Munich, Germany. Currently, about 500 professionals operate in Europe, including skilled designers and engineers from Italy and the UK.

Vision for the Future


“We are excited to be here in Germany,” said Zhu Huarong, Chairman of ChangAn Automobile. “Our mission is to produce sustainable vehicles that benefit society.” The company aims to achieve global sales of three million units this year, including one million electric vehicles. By 2030, its targets are ambitious: five million total vehicles sold annually, with three million being electric.
