Explore Residential Facilities Care
Are you considering the importance of inspecting and maintaining your home's equipment and materials? The Living Amenity Association (ALIA), a general incorporated association primarily organized by manufacturers of residential equipment and materials, is set to hold the "14th Housing Parts Inspection Day Symposium" on October 10, 2025. This event will be conducted via a Zoom webinar, aiming to raise awareness of the cultural significance of inspecting home facilities and materials.

By participating in this symposium, we can collectively delve into why inspections are necessary and what benefits they offer to homeowners and businesses alike. We warmly invite anyone interested, from industry professionals to general users, to register for this complimentary event.

Special Highlight: Mascot Character "Juutenja"
This year’s symposium theme is "Benefits of #DIY Inspections: Business Insights for Homeowners and Businesses Through Smart Information Sharing." In the first half, Mr. Makoto Ozaki, the Planning Department Manager at HITOWA Life Partner, will deliver a keynote seminar, followed by a presentation from Mr. Hideyuki Kondo, Chairman of the ALIA Housing Parts Inspection Promotion Department. The latter half will feature a panel discussion facilitated by Mr. Yoshinori Fukuda, Director of the Remodeling Industry News, with representatives such as Ms. Toshino Tominaga from Kamamori Co., Ltd. and Mr. Taku Kitagawa from Kitase Co., Ltd. sharing their successful service examples and post-sale customer follow-up strategies.
What are Housing Parts?
ALIA refers to various built-in facilities and materials in homes, excluding appliances, collectively as "housing parts." This includes crucial components like toilets, kitchens, windows, handrails, water heaters, and bathrooms.
Importance of Care and Inspection
Housing components age just like us. Ignoring minor issues can lead to serious breakdowns that disrupt daily life or lead to accidents. Regular inspections, akin to annual health check-ups, ensure safety and reliability of these parts. While some inspections require professional attention, many checks can be performed by homeowners themselves. Check out the special website for housing parts inspection "Juuten" to get started today:

DIY Inspection Handbook
We have prepared a handbook that makes it easy for residents to check for potential issues or abnormalities in housing parts without hassle. This handbook provides clear illustrations and explanations, making it user-friendly even for those not well-versed in housing components. Access it here:

October 10: Housing Parts Inspection Day!
To emphasize the significance of maintenance and inspection for housing components, ALIA has established October 10 as "Housing Parts Inspection Day." The goal is to raise awareness among users about the importance of these practices, ensuring safe, secure, and comfortable use of housing facilities.
Introducing Juutenja
Juutenja, ALIA's mascot character, was created to monitor everyone's safety and comfortable living. This lively and playful character travels nationwide, encouraging residents to maintain and inspect their housing parts. Juutenja’s birthday coincides with Housing Parts Inspection Day on October 10.
