STAGE:0 eSPORTS High-School Championship 2025
The excitement of Japan's largest high school eSports tournament, the
Coca-Cola STAGE:0 eSPORTS High-School Championship 2025, has come to a thrilling conclusion. This year, the national finals took place from
August 15th to 17th at the EXPO Hall 'Shine Hat' during the Osaka Kansai Expo, where a staggering
8,293 high school students competed for the top honors.
Champions Unveiled Across Various Categories
The competition featured eight different categories, and the champions emerged as follows:
- - Valorant: Renaissance Toyoda High School with the team name “大阪に行くために” (To Go to Osaka)
- - League of Legends: Clark Memorial International High School with the team name “NEXTFamily”
- - Fortnite Battle Royale: N High School with the team name “なるーく”
- - Overwatch 2: S High School with the team name “Hedgehog”
- - Fortnite Zero Build: Renaissance High School with the team name “しぇろんていらー”
- - Brawl Stars: Fujidera High School with the team name “サウザンドラブ”
- - Clash Royale: Kwansei Gakuin High School with the team name “コーディーユッキザッキ”
- - Street Fighter 6: Chuo International High School with the team name “むにじゅの伝説”
Each winning team received a special STAGE:0 trophy, crafted by Kewai, symbolizing their hard work, determination, and the memories of their journey to victory.

The tournament was a spectacle of eSports excellence and camaraderie, as it brought together passionate students from across the nation. The
Coca-Cola STAGE:0 2025 served not only as a battlefield for competitive gaming but also as a celebration of teamwork and personal growth.
The Journey to Victory
In the
Valorant finals, last year's champions Renaissance Toyoda faced off against Renaissance High School, a rematch that thrilled spectators. Ultimately, Renaissance Toyoda triumphed once again, achieving a remarkable back-to-back victory.
The
League of Legends finale saw Clark Memorial International's “NEXTFamily” hold onto an early lead against a strong challenge from Chuo International High School, securing their place at the top.
N High School's “なるーく” displayed exceptional skill in
Fortnite, managing to outperform last year's champions in a nail-biting finish. Other notable victories included S High School’s “Hedgehog” in
Overwatch 2, and Fujidera High School’s “サウザンドラブ” crowned as the first champions in the newly introduced
Brawl Stars category.
A Strong Support from Osaka's Local Government
The event was further elevated by the presence of
Osaka Governor Hirofumi Yoshimura, who made a surprise appearance, expressing his excitement about hosting an eSports event during the Expo and highlighting Osaka's commitment to becoming a hub for eSports.
Fostering Future Talent
In a collaborative effort with the
Osaka eSports Round Table, participants received a robust support system, enabling them to perform at their best during the competition. Additionally, young eSports enthusiasts aged 10-15 were invited to witness the matches, inspiring future generations to pursue their dreams in the eSports realm.
The STAGE:0 team aims to keep pushing the boundaries of eSports, providing a premier platform where high school students can showcase their skills and form lasting friendships.
