DFSK E5 PLUS Officially Launches in Ecuador

On November 17, 2025, DFSK, a subsidiary under SERES Group, announced the official launch of its mid-size plug-in hybrid electric SUV, the E5 PLUS, in Ecuador. This remarkable unveiling took place through a strategic partnership with Automekano, one of the leading automotive companies in the country. The launch event included specialized high-altitude tests where the E5 PLUS displayed remarkable adaptability across diverse and complex road conditions, from well-paved urban streets to rugged off-road terrains in mountainous regions. The vehicle is equipped with the SERES super hybrid system, allowing it to deliver robust and stable power, even in high-altitude areas where driving conditions tend to be challenging.

DFSK has engineered the E5 PLUS with Frequency Selective Damping (FSD) shock absorbers to automatically adjust the damping force based on road surface undulations, ensuring a smooth and comfortable ride over bumpy gravel paths. Additionally, the vehicle features a panoramic 360° view and a transparent chassis, providing drivers with a comprehensive perspective of the environment surrounding the vehicle, thus significantly increasing safety and driver confidence in narrow mountain roads and complicated driving scenarios.

Moreover, the vehicle comes equipped with advanced technology, incorporating two millimeter-wave radars, six ultrasonic radars, and five HD cameras, amounting to a total of 13 high-performance perception sensors.
