Overview of 2025 Nara Prefecture Rankings
Daito Kentaku Co., headquartered in Minato, Tokyo, has conducted a comprehensive survey to determine the "2025 Living Satisfaction Ranking" and "Desired Town Ranking" for Nara Prefecture. This extensive evaluation is based on responses gathered over several years, showcasing residents' satisfaction and preferences for neighborhoods and towns.
Key Findings
Top Stations for Living Satisfaction
The top station for living satisfaction in the latest rankings is the newly listed Iwaki in Katsuragi City, located on the Kintetsu Minami Osaka Line. This station made a notable entrance as it was excluded from last year's rankings due to fewer than 30 respondents. Following close behind are Nakata in Ikoma City (2nd place) and Gakken Nara Tomigaoka in Nara City (3rd place). Notably, Gakken Kita Ikoma, also from Ikoma City, debuted in 9th place this year, marking its first appearance in the top rankings.
Leading Municipalities in Living Satisfaction
For the municipal rankings, Oji Town in Kitakatsuragi District has consistently held the top spot for seven consecutive years. The second place goes to Ikoma City, and the third to Horyo Town, also within Kitakatsuragi District. The ranks demonstrate a strong presence of towns from the Kitakatsuragi area, further solidifying its reputation as a desirable region.
Desired Stations Rankings
The station residents most desire to live near continues to be Umeda A, which combines multiple stations in Osaka, marking three years in a row at the top. Meanwhile, Ikoma A in the Kintetsu Nara Line moved up from the eighth to the second place, with Gakuen-mae station securing the third spot, maintaining its previous year's standing. Additionally, Nara station and Kintetsu Nara station ranked equally in fourth place this year.
Desired Municipalities
Nara City has also maintained its first-place position as the most desired municipality for residents for seven consecutive years. Following them are Kashihara City, and surprisingly, the Tokyo 23 wards, indicating a diverse range of preference within the rankings. Kasiba City improved significantly, moving from last year's tenth place into the top five.
