DXC Technology Opens a Pioneering Client Experience Center in the Philippines
In a significant move to enhance collaboration and drive AI innovation, DXC Technology (NYSE: DXC), a leading global technology services provider listed in the Fortune 500, officially opened its first Client Experience Center located at Taguig City, within Metro Manila. This strategic investment aims to reinforce DXC's long-term commitment to its clients and further expand its footprint in Asia.
Taguig City has emerged as a prime destination for technology and innovation, making it an ideal location for this new center. The facility is designed to engage customers, foster collaboration among DXC's workforce of 7,000 employees in the Philippines, and speed up the delivery of AI-powered innovative solutions. Positioned within DXC's global delivery center, the Client Experience Center will serve as a co-creation hub, supporting critical applications, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity services.
The launch of this center complements DXC's AI-focused strategy, including the recent announcement of Xponential— a new generation orchestration AI model. This center features an AI incubation hub dedicated to developing and deploying next-generation solutions that integrate AI with traditional enterprise technology services. Additionally, it incorporates a state-of-the-art 24/7 AI Security Operations Center, which will act as a centralized hub for monitoring, detecting, and responding to potential security threats for DXC's global customer base.
Ramnath Venkataraman, President of Consulting and Engineering Services at DXC, expressed enthusiasm about the launch, stating, "This center leverages the incredible talent at DXC across the Philippines and the growing interest of our clients in AI-powered solutions. It is a strategic innovation engine for DXC, showcasing how we partner with global clients to drive transformation and tackle tomorrow’s challenges."
Currently, the global delivery center in the Philippines operates as DXC’s SAP Center of Excellence, housing the largest concentration of SAP capabilities and expertise worldwide. With over 1,800 SAP consultants in the country, the Philippine team supports more than 350 client businesses and accounts globally.
In conjunction with the official opening of the Center, DXC partnered with Baby and Moms PH to donate refurbished laptops to students at the Industrial Valley Complex (IVC) in Marikina City as part of its Digital Futures Program. This initiative aims to empower thousands of students by enhancing their access to technology, literacy, education, and employment opportunities. Venkataraman also noted the importance of continuous training for Filipino digital workers in transformative technologies like AI, highlighting the Philippines' crucial role as a destination for information and communication technology.
Jack Madrid, President and CEO of the IT and Business Process Association of the Philippines, commended the ongoing growth of the DXC team, currently standing at 7,000 employees in the country. He stated, "Your commitment to continuously training the Filipino digital workforce in transformative technologies such as agentic AI is vital for the continued success of the Philippines as a destination for ICT. We thank DXC for their commitment to the sector and for making the Philippines a hub for digital customer experience."
DXC has maintained a strong presence in the Philippines for decades, providing support to clients in key sectors, including consumer retail, manufacturing, insurance, banking, automotive, and the public sector. The opening of the Client Experience Center underscores DXC's long-term commitment to fostering talent, innovation, and client success in the Philippines, further bolstering its AI-driven delivery network following recent launches in Detroit, Halifax, and Buenos Aires, alongside the establishment of an AI competence center in Warsaw.
