Arianetech Japan Upgrades Its Showroom for Advanced AgriTech Solutions

Arianetech Japan Enhances Agri-Tech Solutions Showroom

Arianetech Japan, the Japanese subsidiary of the Singaporean agri-tech company Arianetech Pte. Ltd., has recently upgraded its showroom located at Chiba University’s Kashiwa-no-ha Campus, enhancing its presentation of cutting-edge agricultural technology. This revitalization, set to be fully operational by December 2025, aims to assist local farmers and businesses in addressing challenges related to high energy costs and excessive labor expenses.

Previously, the showroom showcased Arianetech's flagship product: high-efficiency LED lighting systems designed for comparison cultivation. Now, the expanded exhibition will include a variety of smart agricultural solutions such as fully automated machinery, state-of-the-art cultivation environment control systems, and systems tailored for greenhouse cultivation.

Visitors to the showroom will have hands-on access to these advanced technologies, allowing for a practical understanding of potential applications in Japan's plant factory and smart agriculture sectors. This initiative is crucial for companies looking to enter the market or upgrade their existing facilities.

Objectives of the Showroom Upgrade

The primary goal for enhancing the showroom arises from Arianetech Japan's extensive interactions with local plant factory operators, who frequently express concerns about operational costs, particularly around high electricity rates and labor expenses. The revamped showroom is intended to provide a comprehensive understanding of innovative technologies developed in Singapore that can alleviate these pressing issues.

Display Highlights at the Showroom (Note: Visits require advance notice)

  • - High-efficiency cultivation LED lights that produce 1 kg of lettuce using only 3 kWh of electricity, showcasing various types of LED lights with different wavelengths and color temperatures to demonstrate differences in plant growth outcomes.
  • - An all-in-one cultivation environment control system (Smart Agro) that integrates lighting, nutrient supply, and airflow control.
  • - An automatic seedling system (Smartcart Nursery) that utilizes Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV) to significantly reduce labor requirements.
  • - An automated nutrient solution cultivation system specifically for leafy greens utilized in agricultural houses. This includes planting robots and a Moving Gutter System (MGS).

The showroom will also exhibit the ease of seedling transportation utilizing AGVs, providing real-world examples of how such technologies can transform traditional farming practices.

Upcoming Activities

From October 2025:
  • - Arianetech Japan will participate in the agricultural exhibition “Agriculture Week,” also known as J-AGRI, to be held in Tokyo.
  • - Additionally, the company’s CEO, Edwin Ong, will present at the 6th Shizuoka-Singapore Agri-Food Forum (SSAFF) in December, discussing Arianetech Japan’s business outlook and strategic objectives.
  • - The showroom enhancements will be officially launched in tandem with the Agri Forum event.

Future Plans:
Arianetech Japan aims to exhibit at key agricultural exhibitions in 2026: the Agriculture Week (J-AGRI) from May 27 to 29 in Kumamoto and the GPEC 2026 (Facility Horticulture & Plant Factory Exhibition) from July 15 to 17 in Tokyo Big Sight. These events will showcase their primary products such as LED lighting and comprehensive environmental control systems designed to optimize plant factory operations while reducing labor costs.
