In a remarkable achievement, all 120 participants from the 2025 cohort of the 'Blue Sea Elite' Young Technicians Training Program at XCMG Technician College have secured employment in international structures long before their graduation. They have also earned the prestigious German Industrial Mechanic Certificate (IHK), allowing them to immediately take up positions in XCMG's global entities upon completing their studies.

Launched in August 2021 as part of a strategic partnership between XCMG Technician College, the Erfurt Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), and the Education Center in Erfurt, the 'Blue Sea Elite' program masterfully combines the dual vocational education system renowned in Germany with China's potential in vocational training. This fusion has created an effective educational pathway tailored to the specific needs of industries worldwide.
The program enhances educators’ opportunities to participate in international training, fostering a collaborative, five-dimensional teaching system that integrates professional work with learning. Over 20% of the teaching staff are bilingual or possess global experience, playing a crucial role in developing intercultural competencies among technical workers.
Integrated support frameworks within the program focus on four areas: language skills, technical expertise, intercultural understanding, and management capabilities. Graduates emerge as part of an elite international service workforce equipped with a global perspective, exceptional technical skills, and intercultural competencies. The first cohort’s graduates have secured managerial and engineering positions across Southeast Asia, West Africa, and South Africa, firmly becoming integral to XCMG's global team.
