Sandaime Torimero Revamps Menu for Enhanced Dining Experience Starting January 2026

Sandaime Torimero Introduces Updated Grand Menu

On January 28, 2026, Sandaime Torimero, a popular izakaya chain operated by Watami Co., will launch a revamped grand menu across its 99 locations nationwide (excluding a few). This fresh update comes amidst rising ingredient and logistics costs that challenge the dining industry. In response, the restaurant aims to elevate the quality of its yakitori while making its drink selections more approachable and enjoyable.

Improved Yakitori Offerings

A significant focus of the menu update is on the quality of yakitori, with seven out of fourteen skewers being transformed into chilled offerings. This change allows Sandaime Torimero to maximize the original flavors of its ingredients, ensuring that each bite delivers the best taste possible. The following are some highlights from the new menu:

  • - Seiryuu Wakadori Momo Negima and Mune Negima Skewers (two types) for 550 yen (tax included 605 yen): The beloved Seiryuu Wakadori Momo Negima remains, complemented by the introduction of the Seiryuu Wakadori Mune Negima. Customers are invited to experience the distinct flavors by trying both.

  • - Domestic Sasami Skewers (two types) for 399 yen (tax included 438 yen) and Domestic Liver Skewers for 180 yen (tax included 198 yen): Focusing on domestic chilled ingredients, Sandaime Torimero has meticulously restructured its sourcing and preparation processes to ensure maximum freshness and flavor, elevating the yakitori experience.

  • - Beef Kalbi Skewers for 399 yen (tax included 438 yen): Hand-skewered in-house, this substantial skewer measures approximately 24 cm, presenting an impressive blend of volume and deliciousness.

More Affordable Shōchū Prices

To encourage frequent visits, Sandaime Torimero has also reduced prices on all shōchū bottles. The price for Seikei no Udon, for instance, has dropped from 3,500 yen (tax included 3,850 yen) to 2,990 yen (tax included 3,289 yen), while Osumi has been reduced from 2,500 yen (tax included 2,750 yen) to 1,990 yen (tax included 2,189 yen). This enables guests to enjoy a beer to quench their thirst followed by a delightful shōchū pairing, allowing for an enhanced dining experience at the izakaya.

Introduction of Organic Herbal Tea

Adding to the excitement, Sandaime Torimero has introduced a unique organic herbal tea made from Sandaime Watami's own organically grown kikurage (Jerusalem artichoke), benefiting from the nutritious inulin it contains. This herb tea, priced at 299 yen (tax included 328 yen), combines with rose hips, recognized for their high Vitamin C content, resulting in a fragrant and refreshing taste. Customers can enjoy this herbal tea on its own or as an organic Rose Hip mix for 299 yen (tax included 328 yen), pairing well with various dishes and enhancing the overall experience.
