The low-migration TPU, Arothane™ ARP-B20, is compliant with ISO 10993 standards and is suitable for implants with a duration of up to 90 days. This advancement minimizes additive migration during processing, ensuring catheters maintain a smooth surface throughout their entire lifespan. Additionally, it is available in 15 color options, allowing for flexible and customizable design.

The newly introduced low-friction series features an inherently smooth surface, eliminating the need for extra coatings or post-treatments. Fully composed of TPU and free from PFAS or plasticizers, this series guarantees long-term stability without surface leaching or additive migration. Its low-friction properties are particularly advantageous for applications requiring smooth insertion, such as nasal tubes with guide wires, while ensuring safety and performance during both storage and use.

Moreover, ICP DAS-BMP plans to present a wide-ranging TPU portfolio that answers diverse medical needs. The ARP, ALP, and ALC series are suitable for most body-contact devices, with ARP-B20 and ALC-B40 qualified for 90-day implantation. For X-ray dense applications, the ARP-W and ARP-WG series incorporate 40-60% tungsten to enhance visibility in guide wires and thin-walled devices.

The Engineering series, Arothane™ EARP, renowned for its clarity and strength, is ideal for orthodontics, Luer lock connections, and other precision instruments.
