Kyoto's Sweet Sensation: Tasuki's Pop-Up Events
The renowned Kyoto dessert shop,
Ocha to Sake Tasuki, famous for its delectable kakigori (shaved ice), has announced the much-anticipated second and third pop-up events. After a spectacular first pop-up from July 1 to July 7, they are returning to New Shinjuku, specifically the
Tabisuru Beer Garden Hello, for one week each in August and September.
The pop-up will be located on the rooftop of Lumine 1 in Shinjuku, where dessert enthusiasts can indulge in some of Tasuki's most cherished offerings ahead of their official availability at the main store. This pop-up aims to showcase the essence of Kyoto's summer treats with a refreshing twist.
Menu Highlights
The second pop-up event, taking place from August 1 to August 7, will feature three exquisite flavors:

Fresh Grape and Cream Cheese - A seasonal favorite that brings together the richness of cream cheese with the sweetness of fresh grapes.

Shirokuma Almond Tofu - Reinventing the traditional dessert, this popular item from the last event will make a comeback for guests to relish.
3.
Caramel Kahlua Milk Shaved Ice - Perfect for adults, this creation combines a hint of saltiness with sweet caramel flavors, providing a unique tasting experience.
In addition to the delightful shaved ice, attendees can also treat themselves to the adult-oriented sweet,
YO KAN KA, a sophisticated version of yokan (a traditional Japanese sweet) made in collaboration with the esteemed Horii Nananomeen, specializing in Uji tea.
Pricing and Availability
Guests can enjoy each kakigori for between ¥1,650 and ¥1,950, and the hand-crafted YO KAN KA is available in a take-home set for ¥3,800 or as a delightful pairing with Uji tea for just ¥1,000.
