WICE Global Impact Summit 2026: Bridging Sectors to Tackle Global Issues
On October 21–22, 2026, the WICE Global Impact Summit welcomed over 100 prominent figures from various sectors, including government, finance, technology, and philanthropy, at The Penthouse in The Washington Post Building. This year's theme, "Solving What Matters," underlined the urgency of addressing pressing global challenges through innovative methods and collaborative partnerships.
Among the attendees were representatives from influential organizations such as NVIDIA, Lockheed Martin, Wells Fargo, Esri, MITRE, and the World Bank. The event commenced with insightful remarks from WICE's Executive Chairwoman, Dr. Emily Weeks, followed by a keynote address by Ambassador Jimmy Kolker that emphasized U.S. foreign policy and international collaboration requirements. Dr. Weeks articulated the interconnectedness of today's challenges—covering areas like global health, disaster response, and landscape resilience—and stressed that these issues require a unified approach.
Throughout the summit, five specialized panels targeted critical areas:

2.
Disaster Relief Technology: Participants examined ways to strengthen emergency response and preparedness.
3.

"Real progress stems from bold ideas and the commitment to execute them," remarked WICE CEO Jacques P. Walker. He emphasized that the summit aimed to connect expertise with resources to enact tangible change, allowing communities to build a robust future. Notable highlights also included engaging talks from various ambassadors and the introduction of Marco Noordeloos' initiative, The Systemic Self.
The summit concluded on October 22 with a WICE Members' Consultant Workshop focusing on leadership training and exploring international business opportunities, further cementing the summit's commitment to holistic growth.
