Depot Connect International Welcomes Stan Kolev as CFO

Depot Connect International (DCI) has made a significant announcement with the appointment of Stan Kolev as its new Chief Financial Officer. DCI, known globally for its expertise in tank container services and logistic solutions, is optimistic about the future with Kolev at the helm of its financial strategy.

Extensive Experience in Financial Leadership

Stan Kolev brings more than 25 years of substantial experience in financial leadership and accounting. His background includes a wealth of knowledge in private equity-backed growth strategies and industrial services, positioning DCI for a promising trajectory. Kolev's impressive career includes a successful tenure as CFO at ITS Logistics, where he managed financial operations for a company that generated over $1.3 billion in revenue. His leadership contributed to the successful sale of ITS Logistics to a strategic buyer, further showcasing his capability in managing large financial portfolios.

Before his role at ITS Logistics, Kolev served as CFO of Industrial Service Solutions, a leading MRO service provider. His efforts there also led to remarkable growth, increasing annual revenue from less than $300 million to over $550 million, culminating in a noteworthy sale to a new private equity investor. This track record of achievement demonstrates his proficiency in executing complex growth strategies, which will be invaluable as DCI embarks on its next phase of expansion.

Responsibilities and Goals at DCI

In his new role, Kolev will oversee DCI's global financial strategy, focusing on key areas such as financial reporting, treasury management, and mergers and acquisitions integration. Kolev holds a Master of Science in Accounting and Taxation from Florida Gulf Coast University, along with a Master of Science in Finance from the Economic University of Varna in Bulgaria. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), making him a well-rounded asset to the company.
