Spring Flavors Blossom at Hyatt Regency Tokyo's New Afternoon Tea Collaboration

Springtime Delights: Afternoon Tea at Hyatt Regency Tokyo

Hyatt Regency Tokyo, which will celebrate its 45th anniversary in September 2025, proudly announces a seasonal afternoon tea collaboration with the renowned Pierre Hermé Paris. From February 1, 2026, visitors can enjoy a vibrant afternoon tea experience that captures the essence of spring, along with a new concept called “Café Gourmand.” This limited-time offering is sure to enchant guests with its refreshing selection of sweets and savories.

The fifth edition of the afternoon tea collaboration features the theme “Floral Infusion – Spring Awakening,” showcasing an exquisite lineup of seven spring-themed sweets and five savory creations, all to be paired with free-flow drinks. With the addition of “Café Gourmand,” guests can indulge in four signature Pierre Hermé Paris sweets and their preferred drinks without the need for reservations, creating a spontaneous afternoon escape.

A Gourmet Spring Experience

Set within the sophisticated ambiance of the Nineteen Eighty Lounge & Bar, guests are invited to relish a special moment created through this collaboration. The afternoon tea menu includes delightful sweets, such as:
  • - Ispahan: A stunning blend of rose, lychee, and raspberry that encapsulates the flavors of spring.
  • - Petit Four Aurora: Delicate layers infused with bergamot and rose.
  • - Emotion Envie: A glass dessert filled with cassis, vanilla, and violet aromas.
  • - Pistachio Tart: A rich treat showcasing the nutty essence of pistachios.
  • - Chocolate Tart: A luscious offering from Caribbean chocolate, appealing to chocoholics.

These sweets create a colorful and indulgent setting for a graceful afternoon gathering, while the savory options are designed to echo the lightness of spring.

Fresh and Seasonal Savories

Inspired by the budding season, the savory dishes are presented in a course format. The menu starts with a Cauliflower Mousse Tartlet, followed by a vibrant Pumpkin Velouté, a refreshing Soft-Shell Crab Salad enhanced with citrus notes, and concludes with luxurious selections like Lobster Roll and Iberico Ham and Truffle Toast. Each dish combines seasonal ingredients and the meticulous preparation reminiscent of fine hotel dining, ensuring a sophisticated and satisfying culinary experience.

Café Gourmand: A Sweet New Style
