Residents are encouraged to bring damaged or recalled batteries, which will also be handled with care at this event. However, certain items will not be accepted, including e-cigarettes, large electronics such as televisions, lawn care equipment, and appliances.

Before attending, participants are advised to securely tape the terminals of all batteries to ensure safe handling and to comply with a maximum weight limit of 200 lbs per vehicle.
