New Horizon Collective Sponsors Innovative Program
New Horizon Collective, a Tokyo-based company founded by Yuji Yamaguchi and Tomohiro Nozawa, is excited to announce its support for an innovative program led by Osaka University. This initiative, titled the "Business Planning Program Focusing on the Social Implementation of Advanced Technologies by Young Excellent Researchers," aims to bridge research and practical business applications. Starting from October 9, entrepreneurs and engineers interested in participating can apply to join this unique opportunity.
Overview of the Program
The program is spearheaded by Osaka University’s Future-type Intellectual Infrastructure Creation Center (FICCT). It focuses on collaboration between researchers, entrepreneurs, and engineers to devise business plans that make use of cutting-edge research outcomes. Teams of three will form groups, gathering insights from communities with specific challenges, and ultimately present their business proposals.
Over a span of six months, participants will receive guidance from professionals across various fields, including attorneys, venture capitalists, and experienced researchers, enhancing their practical knowledge while attending lectures and engaging in group work that deepens their technological understanding.
The business plans that are selected for presentation may receive further support for commercialization in the subsequent year. Furthermore, participants will gain access to additional services offered through the Life Shift Platform (LSP), also run by New Horizon Collective.
The Life Shift Platform (LSP) enables business professionals with diverse expertise to continue providing value independently throughout their careers, even as they age.
