Cleveland Heights Collaborates with Leopardo Energy for Significant Cost Savings



The City of Cleveland Heights has kicked off 2025 with a strategic partnership aimed at substantial cost savings mapped out for the next twenty years. Teaming up with Leopardo Energy, a well-regarded figure in sustainable building practices, Cleveland Heights is set to secure a whopping $33.6 million in guaranteed savings over the next two decades. This collaboration encompasses the renovation of five city facilities, the installation of energy-efficient LED streetlights, and advanced procurement strategies tailored for goods and services.

Scheduled to commence in February 2025, this project is expected to reach completion by November of the same year. This marks Leopardo Energy’s fourth endeavor in Northeast Ohio, having previously executed successful projects in cities like Cuyahoga Falls, South Euclid, and North Olmsted.
