Background of Akari Guarantee
In Japan, the aging population is rising, leading to an increase in elderly individuals without family. By 2050, it is projected that the number of elderly without children will exceed ten million, with four million lacking any family connections. In this context, many seniors face difficulties accessing necessary services due to a lack of a guarantor for medical care or nursing home admissions.
Akari Guarantee was established to address this lack of guarantors and provide reliable services by collaborating with legal professionals—such as lawyers and judicial scriveners—as well as healthcare experts, including nurses and care managers. By understanding each senior's unique needs, Akari Guarantee aims to deliver comprehensive, high-quality support for debt guarantees, posthumous administrative procedures, and more. Furthermore, they comply with the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare’s guidelines and are instrumental in the establishment of Japan's first nationwide organization dedicated to senior care support administrators.
Through these efforts, Akari Guarantee strives to create a society where all elderly individuals can live with peace of mind during their later years.
