Power Nickel's Latest Drill Results Unveil 10.60% CuEq Over Significant Lengths, Highlighting High-Grade Potential

On February 5, 2025, Power Nickel Inc. (TSXV: PNPN, OTCBB: PNPNF) reported promising drilling results from its ongoing exploration at the Nisk project, specifically Hole PN-24-095a. This drill hole delivered remarkable assays, revealing a copper equivalent (CuEq) grade of 10.60% over 5.35 meters, within an interval that shows a CuEq grade of 3.61% across 19.40 meters. These findings continue to affirm the mineral potential at the Lion Zone of the Nisk Project.

The Lion Zone is of particular interest due to its demonstrated high-grade mineralization, which has yielded notable intersections in previous drill campaigns. Specifically, Hole PN-24-095a was targeted below prior drill holes to assess the continuity of the mineralized zone. Prior to this release, mineralized core samples from this hole were documented (as noted in the company's January 21, 2025 press release), further heightening anticipation regarding the delineation of high-grade mineralization in this area.

Additionally, it is crucial to mention that drilling for holes PN-24-082 to PN-24-085 was tactically executed to intersect the target horizon 100-200 meters west of known mineralization. Although these holes did pass through the target horizon, they returned only weakly anomalous platinum (Pt) and palladium (Pd) values. Their strategic placement serves to facilitate borehole Electromagnetic (BHEM) surveys scheduled for later this month, expected to enhance understanding of off-hole conductors that may indicate further mineralization.

Further exploration is on the horizon with Hole PN-24-088 which was drilled to investigate a weak airborne EM anomaly between the Lion site and a nearby discovery hole, PN-24-094. This hole recorded sporadic gold and copper values, albeit below the anticipated anomaly depth, leading to a partial BHEM assessment that hints at an intriguing off-hole anomaly. Future exploration efforts aim to confirm whether this anomaly corresponds to a sulphide concentration, drawing parallels to past experiences in the Lion area.

Joe Campbell, Power Nickel's VP of Exploration, expressed optimism regarding the findings, emphasizing the significance of borehole EM techniques in discovering new opportunities within the mineralized area. As the Lion Zone continues to produce remarkable intersections, predictions regarding its extending high-grade trends and potential further discoveries remain high.

By mid-February, Power Nickel plans to ramp up their drilling capacity with the introduction of additional drills, which will expedite the discovery process and allow for a more rapid buildup of potential resources. The company anticipates exciting results from these upcoming explorations, bolstered by further analysis of data garnered from concurrent ground and borehole EM surveys, which are likely to unveil additional conductive targets within this mineral-rich landscape.

In summary, the latest drill results from Power Nickel not only highlight the promising nature of the Lion Zone but also set the stage for expansive exploration efforts in the coming months. As the mining community remains vigilant for high-grade discoveries, Power Nickel stands at the forefront of what may prove to be a significant advance in Canada's poly-metallic mining sector.
