Longevity Health Achieves Remarkable 5-Star Ratings from CMS for Two Consecutive Years
Longevity Health Achieves 5-Star Ratings Across All Plans for Two Years Running
In an outstanding feat, Longevity Health has announced that all five of its eligible health plans have earned a prestigious 5-Star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) for 2027. This accolade marks the second consecutive year that the health firm has secured the highest possible rating, solidifying its status as a leader in the healthcare sector.
Among the 508 Medicare Advantage plans evaluated nationwide, only a select 15 plans, amounting to about 2.95%, achieved the coveted 5-Star rating. Notably, Longevity Health boasts five of these 15 plans, representing a significant one-third of all top-rated health options available across the country. This remarkable accomplishment also highlights Longevity Health's unique position, as they are among only three entities nationwide to maintain a 5-Star rating for two consecutive years.
Ben Lerer, Chief Executive Officer of Longevity Health, praised the organization's remarkable consistency in delivering high-quality care across its plans in multiple states. “A second consecutive year of 5-Star performance across every eligible plan demonstrates that exceptional quality is not a one-time result at Longevity. It is a standard our teams and partners work together to sustain,” he stated. This recognition underscores the dedication and hard work of the entire company, from employees to partners, who collaborate to enhance care and improve the quality of life for their members.
The CMS publishes the Star Ratings annually to assist Medicare beneficiaries and their families in evaluating different health plans and prescription drug options. The ratings consider several performance factors, including clinical outcomes, member experiences, access to care, and the safety of medication and customer service practices. For Medicare Advantage contracts, as many as 43 quality and performance measures can be taken into account.
Cara Broich, Vice President of Clinical Quality at Longevity Health, noted, “Achieving this level of performance across all of our eligible plans requires tremendous focus and consistency.” She elaborated on the collaborative approach that the clinicians, health plan teams, and partners undertake to ensure early identification of member needs and support during crucial healthcare moments. The collective efforts across various departments and partners lead to such exemplary results.
Longevity Health's innovative care model is built to cater specifically to complex medical needs, utilizing specialized clinical expertise, proactive care coordination, actionable data, and robust partnerships. This dynamic combination aims to improve health outcomes efficiently. Their consecutive portfolio-wide top-tier results reflect their capability to deliver consistent, high-quality care, even as the organization continues to expand its services.
“This is more than a quality milestone,” Lerer pointed out. “It demonstrates that a highly specialized, collaborative model can consistently deliver exceptional performance and growth.”
