Star Gold Corp. Unveils Comprehensive Drill Campaign for Project Advancement in Summer 2026

Star Gold Corp. has officially finalized the blueprint for its summer 2026 drilling program at the Longstreet Gold-Silver Project, located in Nye County, Nevada. This strategic initiative signifies a pivotal moment for the company as they integrate multiple aspects of mining operations, including exploration, metallurgy, hydrology, and permitting into a unified campaign, marking a significant shift in their approach to resource development.

Innovative Approach to Drill Campaign

This drilling program comprises 11 HQ core holes that are purposefully designed to target various goals simultaneously. Instead of sequentially addressing exploration and related tasks, the company aims to execute a streamlined operation that tackles resource definition, metallurgical testing, and hydrologic assessment concurrently. This integrated approach aims to mitigate mobilization costs and reduce permitting timelines, challenges that often hinder junior mining developers.

The inaugural hole of the drilling program will serve as a vertical exploration water production well situated at the canyon's base beneath the Main resource area. This well is critical as it addresses the water supply needs any future mining operation will inevitably encounter. Following this, eight angled holes drilled at -45 degrees will focus on expanding the resource definition around the Main site and will provide essential metallurgical test materials. The remaining two vertical holes will function as monitoring wells and are expected to deliver crucial hydrological data as well as valuable geological insights from previously unexplored areas.

Commitment to Responsible Development

As stated by Lindsay Gorrill, President and CEO of Star Gold, this drilling campaign is more than just about increasing the gold and silver ounces in their reserves: “Every hole in this campaign is asked to answer more than one question,
