Higer Bus Establishes First European Service Center in Luxembourg
On July 7, 2025, Higer Bus proudly inaugurated its first European spare parts center and service station in Luxembourg. The event was graced by distinguished guests, including Hua Ning, the Chinese ambassador to Luxembourg, and Lex Delles, Luxembourg's Minister of Economy. They, alongside representatives from various companies, attended the ceremony celebrating this significant milestone for Higer Bus in Europe.
The establishment of this center is seen as a strategic decision, placing Luxembourg at the heart of Europe's transport network. Minister Delles highlighted that the spare parts hub will provide a comprehensive range of components for buses, drastically reducing delivery times and better supporting European customers.
By the end of 2024, Minister Delles had led a government delegation to witness the delivery of a batch of electric buses to Luxembourg from Higer Bus. These electric buses belong to the Azure series, specifically designed to meet modern urban transport needs. With advanced technology and high operational efficiency, these vehicles also embody eco-friendly principles in line with European market demands.
The Azure buses integrate major energy source technologies and smart manufacturing processes, ensuring they cater to the practical requirements of older European cities searching for increased bus travel coverage and electrification. These buses come in multiple lengths and customizable seating arrangements tailored to customer needs, with all options being low-floor and electric.
These electric buses are suitable for a variety of operational scenarios, including major urban routes, suburban services, and shuttle operations. During actual use, operators can strategically adjust the fleet composition based on passenger flow, thus maximizing transport efficiency and significantly reducing operational costs.
As of now, 11 Higer buses are operational in Luxembourg, primarily facilitating intercity routes. Local passengers have praised their stable operation and the quiet, comfortable ride experience they provide. Overall, Higer Bus's commitment to advancing public transport in Luxembourg marks a new chapter in their European expansion strategy. This initiative is expected to bolster Luxembourg's position in the transit sector and contribute towards a more sustainable future for urban transportation overall.
