Epic Seven, the popular mobile RPG developed by SUPER CREATIVE and published by Smilegate, is celebrating its 8th anniversary with a series of exciting updates and events. On August 22, Smilegate unveiled their anniversary showcase, titled 'INFINITY', on their official YouTube channel, revealing a wealth of new content and future plans for the game.

Major Announcement: Steam Store Launch

One of the most significant announcements was the upcoming formal release of Epic Seven on Steam. Set to launch within the year, the game’s Steam store page was made public on August 22, accompanied by a special wishlist event. Players who add the game to their wishlist will be eligible for various in-game rewards.

Through an account switch function provided by STOVE, players will have the ability to access the Steam version of Epic Seven seamlessly. Additionally, a new server dedicated to first-time players will be established, allowing newcomers to enjoy an isolated matching experience. With the Steam launch, the platform will also support console controller operations, broadening the play experience for users and providing a fresh way to engage with the game.

Exciting 8th Anniversary Updates

To commemorate this milestone, numerous updates have been revealed. Starting from August 27, a brand-new side story titled 'Lost Paradise', reflecting the cyclical themes of devastation and reconstruction within the Epic Seven universe, will launch. New heroes such as 'Lizette' and 'The Uncharted Pioneer Politis' will also be introduced throughout the anniversary period.

Collaboration with Chaos Zero Nightmare

Furthermore, a collaboration event with another popular title from Smilegate, Chaos Zero Nightmare, is underway. Iconic combat characters from Chaos Zero will appear as heroes in Epic Seven, and a new PvE content called 'Dimensional Exploration' will be implemented in a roguelike format. Additionally, the World Arena will see the introduction of a groundbreaking real-time PvP feature titled 'Call of Chaos', offering players unpredictable battles enhanced by powerful effects known as 'Fate'.

Enhanced Gameplay with Offline Auto-Run Feature

In response to player feedback regarding enhancements in convenience, an offline auto-run feature has been introduced, allowing for the collection of growth items even in offline status. This addition significantly streamlines the gaming experience, making it more user-friendly.

Upcoming E7WC 2026 Global Esports Championship

The excitement doesn’t end there. Epic Seven is gearing up for the Epic Seven World Championship (E7WC 2026), a global esports competition to determine the top players from the World Arena. The tournament’s in-game qualifiers will commence on September 12, with the grand finals scheduled to take place on November 28 at the Lotte World Tower Superplex in Jamshil, South Korea.

As part of the anniversary celebrations, players can look forward to a plethora of rewards, including a combined total of 1,260 chances for free summonings and an exclusive bunny girl skin themed 'Majestic Bunny Girl - New Moon Luna', available to all players who voted in the popularity polls.
