LX Pantos Expands Global Reach with New Logistics Center Acquisition in Poland

LX Pantos Expands Global Reach

LX Pantos, a world-leading logistics company led by Global CEO Lee Yong-ho, is making significant strides in its global expansion initiatives through key strategic partnerships and infrastructure investments. On March 16, 2026, the company announced a pivotal acquisition — a newly constructed logistics complex located in Katowice, Poland. This move is part of their broader strategy to solidify their presence in the logistics sector across Europe.

The acquisition, valued at approximately $148 million, was made in collaboration with a consortium that includes the Korean Infrastructure and Urban Development Corporation and the PIS Fund No. 2, a public policy fund under Korea's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport. The Katowice Logistics Center consists of five buildings with a total area of 109,000 square meters and is set to be developed and operationalized in phases, with completion expected in the first half of 2026. As of now, several global and local corporations have signed leasing contracts with this facility.

Through this center, LX Pantos plans to establish a logistical hub focused on Eastern Europe, thereby expanding its offerings to vital sectors such as automotive parts, consumer goods, and home appliances. Additionally, it is anticipated that this facility will serve as an advanced logistical base to cater to the logistical demands that will arise from the reconstruction efforts in Ukraine once they commence.

Beyond Europe, LX Pantos is diligently working to amplify its global operations in strategically significant markets, including the United States and Asia. In the U.S., the company has established a joint venture called Boxlinks LLC with Ocean Network Express (ONE) and has acquired a substantial logistics center in Georgia, covering 304,769 square meters — roughly equivalent to about 43 football fields — to enhance its intermodal operations. Meanwhile, in Northeast Asia, LX Pantos formed FutureLinks in partnership with Sinotrans to extend its multimodal transportation services between China and Korea, efficiently tapping into the booming maritime and air freight markets fueled by e-commerce shipments originating from China.

“LX Pantos operates subsidiaries in over 40 countries with more than 380 global networks, providing integrated logistics solutions across maritime, air, rail, and contract logistics,” stated Lee Yong-ho, the Global CEO. “In this context, the Katowice Logistics Center stands as a strategic milestone in solidifying our foothold in the European logistics market.”

Founded in 1977 and headquartered in South Korea, LX Pantos has established itself as a premier provider of logistics services worldwide. The company is committed to delivering comprehensive logistical solutions through its extensive network that spans more than 40 countries, underscoring its role as a leader in the logistics sector.
