Paris Baguette's New Café in Georgetown: A Taste of France on University Avenue

Paris Baguette Opens New Café in Georgetown

On August 14, Paris Baguette expands its presence in the United States with the launch of its latest bakery café located at 1314 West University Avenue, Georgetown, Texas. This opening signifies not only a new location but also a commitment to providing the community with high-quality artisan pastries, cakes, breads, and handcrafted beverages that have become synonymous with the Paris Baguette brand.

With over 4,000 locations globally and more than 300 across North America, Paris Baguette is committed to enhancing its footprint through significant and meaningful partnerships with local entrepreneurs. Among those is franchisee Saige Lee, who, alongside his partner David Lee, is excited to open a café that fulfills a long-standing personal and entrepreneurial vision.

David Lee's journey to this point began over two decades ago, having been a loyal patron of Paris Baguette. The brand has been a part of his life, marking celebrations with delicious cakes and sharing moments over coffee. After a successful career in retail operations, David decided to bring the brand to Georgetown to deliver an experience that blends everyday treats with a rich, French-inspired atmosphere.

“Our goal is to create more than a café,” David emphasizes, “We want to provide a warm and welcoming space where our community can gather, enjoy remarkable pastries, and share cherished moments.”

David's ambition is reflected in the foundation of this new café. More than just a place to grab a quick bite or beverage, it aims to be a local hub where people can meet, celebrate special occasions or simply enjoy their day. With a focus on outstanding hospitality and exceptional quality, he wants to position Paris Baguette as a beloved local hangout.

This café opening marks the 28th Paris Baguette in Texas, with the company set on reaching the ambitious goal of 1,000 locations by the year 2030 across the U.S. and Canada. They are witnessing rapid development and are forging paths into key markets through local partnerships that reflect a genuine dedication to community engagement.

Darren Tipton, CEO of Paris Baguette, is excited about the expansion, stating, “We’re on a mission to rejuvenate the neighborhood bakery café as the heart of local communities. David's passion will bring that vision to life right here in Georgetown.” He adds that the cafés aim to make customers feel appreciated and valued in a space dedicated to creativity and connection.

As Paris Baguette sets its sights on growth, the commitment to community-driven initiatives remains strong. Their
