Celebrating a New Beginning in Kichijoji
On November 15th, 2025, Maker’s Watch Knot, based in Musashino City, Tokyo, will honor its roots by relocating its Kichijoji store. This move marks the brand's ten-year anniversary and emphasizes its growth supported by loyal patrons since it first launched its direct retail store via Makuake in 2015. To commemorate this exciting transition, Maker’s Watch Knot will introduce an exclusive "Prime Membership" program limited to 300 members.
Tailored Experience: Full Custom Orders
As part of the membership benefits, members will enjoy an unparalleled opportunity to create a fully customizable watch. With over 100,000 possible combinations, clients can choose from mechanical and quartz models, tailoring every detail to suit their preferences. This includes options for hand color, dial design, case color, and finishing touches on the crown. A unique feature allows members to print cherished moments or pet photos on the case back, giving a personal touch to each timepiece.
Premium Straps to Choose From
In addition to custom watches, the Prime Membership offers one strap from a vast collection of approximately 100 options. This includes luxurious materials such as Kyoto's Nishijin-ori, Kurashiki canvas, and world-renowned KAIHARA denim, ensuring that every watch can be paired with a strap that complements personal style.
Exclusive Discounts and Additional Services
Members will also receive a 10% discount on additional watches and straps purchased at any Maker’s Watch Knot gallery and enjoy a 20% discount on aftercare services. Although the Prime Membership benefits last for a year following receipt of the customized watch, members will be able to maintain their status through a straightforward renewal process at no additional cost.
Embracing Craftsmanship and Community
The Kichijoji store has grown into a beloved hub of creativity and craftsmanship. The Maker’s Watch Knot brand has evolved significantly since its inception, expanding its offerings from wristwatches to wall clocks. This growth is not only due to product innovation but also the strong collaborations with over 20 Japanese artisans and workshops as part of the MUSUBU Partner initiative.
With the move to Nakadou Street—well-known for its vibrant culture and trendy atmosphere—Knot aims to reach new heights and continue building connections and stories that intertwine with the community.
Join Us for the Grand Relocation Event
To celebrate the store's launch, an Instagram Live event will be held on November 15th. Fashion journalist Akihiro Yamamoto will host the live stream, counting down to the opening with special insights into the project and what it means for the future of Maker’s Watch Knot.
How to Order and Membership Schedule
Ordering for the full custom watch will be available at all gallery shops nationwide starting November 15th in Kichijoji, with other locations following shortly after on November 29th. The Prime Membership promises to enhance the Maker’s Watch Knot experience, ensuring that every wristwatch tells a unique story. With customization options tailored to individual preferences and an emphasis on quality craftsmanship, the new store is poised to be a landmark of innovation and personal expression.
