This newly established position will see Plumb spearheading initiatives aimed at enriching the shopper experience across SpartanNash's nearly 200 retail stores, which operate under names including Family Fare, DW Fresh Market, and Martin's Super Markets.

Plumb's responsibility will be pivotal in shaping the company’s brand architecture while ensuring that each retail banner offers a differentiated experience tailored to meet the preferences of diverse shoppers. Prior to joining SpartanNash, Plumb served as an independent marketing consultant, where he crafted customer segmentation strategies and targeted marketing efforts for various startups. His extensive experience also includes a tenure as Senior Director of Marketing for Suntory Global Spirits, wherein he managed the company's whiskey portfolio in the U.S. His career commenced at Kraft Heinz, where he progressed through various roles from Associate Brand Manager to Category Head, ultimately defining the portfolio strategy for the company’s mainstream coffee brands.

Educationally, Plumb holds both a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from the University of Michigan, reflecting a strong academic foundation that complements his professional journey.
