David Yurman Opens Flagship Store in Miami's Creative Heart

Luxury jewelry brand David Yurman has officially opened its flagship store in the vibrant Design District of Miami, a neighborhood famed for its artistic atmosphere and dynamic community. This remarkable space serves as a creative playground for art enthusiasts and jewelry lovers alike.

The chic design of the boutique is the result of a collaborative vision led by President and Chief Creative Officer Evan Yurman, in partnership with the esteemed Italian architect Andrea Tognon and consulting creative director Bernadette Blanc. Drawing inspiration from the precious metals and gemstones of the Yurman family's private collection, the boutique reflects the very essence of the brand’s artistry.

Evan Yurman expressed his excitement for the opening, stating, "We are thrilled to launch our flagship store in Miami, right in the heart of the artistic community. As a brand founded by two artists, this space embodies our family legacy and our mutual vision of creating beautiful things that inspire us—through our products, in-store experience, and overall design. Collaborating with Andrea Tognon and Bernadette Blanc seemed a natural fit to establish this unique concept in a neighborhood pulsing with artistic fervor and a rich heritage that attracts many of our existing and future customers."

Andrea Tognon added, “Our initial discussions about the project began with an understanding of jewelry, sculpting the facade from a massive volume of stone and merging it with metallic paint to create a stunning street presence.” The facade features an impressive extruded logo, paying homage to the brand’s American roots.

Inside the boutique, customers will discover meticulously crafted installations with varying stone finishes, reminiscent of luxury jewelry inlays. The interior features a tiered wall made from vertically cut granite pieces, flowing in a curvature resembling a necklace. Throughout the space, nods to the iconic Cable design appear, including the sculpted handrail at the store's entrance and a circular showcase located beneath the staircase. On the second floor, a private lounge overlooking the Design District showcases the brand's collections of men's, women's, and high-end jewelry, in addition to an extraordinary collection of personal art and private objects belonging to David Yurman.

Tognon’s approach to furniture craftsmanship is rooted in deconstructing an object down to its elemental parts and reassembling it in a new form—much like the ever-evolving Cable motif that is a hallmark of David Yurman's creations. Cable continues to be reimagined in innovative and contemporary designs across all the brand’s collections.

The new Miami flagship promises exclusive styles inspired by the magnetic atmosphere of the city, its landscapes, and tropical sunsets, featuring bold semi-precious stones in vibrant shades of electric pink, neon green, cobalt blue, and fiery orange. These dynamic and radiant pieces encapsulate the excitement and vitality of Miami.
