Hotel Nikko Tachikawa Tokyo, under the guidance of General Manager Toshiyuki Ito, is welcoming the autumn season with a delightful treat for all food lovers. From September 7 to October 23, 2026, guests can indulge in a limited afternoon tea menu called "Shine Muscat Grapes and Autumn Delights" offered exclusively on weekdays. Each sitting allows just 20 guests to reserve their spot for an exquisite tasting experience that is truly unique.

A Taste of Autumn

This special afternoon tea features a splendid selection of 12 dishes, showcasing the hallmark Shine Muscat grapes along with seasonal ingredients like chestnuts and pumpkin. Each dessert is a masterpiece crafted with care by the culinary team, especially Pastry Chef Hiroshi Shimizu, who expertly highlights the richness of seasonal produce.

Among the sweet offerings is the "Shine Muscat Verrine with Jasmine Jelly," which combines the fragrant aroma of Shine Muscat with refreshing layers of panna cotta and jasmine tea jelly, creating a delightful burst of flavors. Another highlight is the "Shine Muscat Roll Cake," featuring a light and tangy cream made from fromage blanc and whipped cream, delicately rolled with the luscious grapes.

You can also relish traditional French desserts, including the "Saint Marc," a chocolate and vanilla cream sandwich cookie that is caramelized, and the unique "Chestnut Mont Blanc Tart" infused with hojicha tea for a distinct flavor. Additional sweet bites include the pumpkin and pecan nut madeleine, ensuring a full spectrum of tastes awaits.

Savory Selections

For those who prefer savory items, the afternoon tea will also feature three dishes, including the "Balsamic Marinated Eggplant," which perfectly balances flavors of rich eggplant and a refreshing acidity. Each dish is designed to please and provide a satisfying contrast to the sweeter selections.

Accompanying these delicacies is a selection of fine teas, including offerings from the esteemed German tea company Ronnefeldt, which enhances the afternoon tea experience, providing an opportunity to unwind in a sophisticated setting.
