The spotlight is set to shine on students from Chuo High School and the Esports High School as they appear on Nippon Broadcasting's radio show,
Collaborate Nippon, starting June 30. This initiative not only highlights their journeys but also aims to raise awareness about the unique educational opportunities each institution offers.
About Collaborate Nippon
Collaborate Nippon is a segment within the popular radio program
All Night Nippon, featuring collaborations with various companies monthly. It airs Monday to Friday at approximately 2:30 AM, lasting for about three minutes each night. The segment engages listeners with interactive projects presented by the month’s host alongside its business partners. This month, the theme revolves around Chuo High School, effectively making it a stage for the voices of its students.
Highlighting Student Experiences
The show's host, Mr. Osamu Suzuki, a former scriptwriter and current advisor at Chuo High School, conducted interviews with six students during the first recording session held in early June. Their testimonials resonate with the essence of personal growth and transformation experienced while studying in a supportive environment.
One student expressed, “I’ve made friends since entering Chuo High School, and I actually look forward to going to school now.” Another shared a heartfelt reflection on overcoming barriers, noting, “I struggled with studies previously, but thanks to the support from teachers, I passed the English proficiency exam and now want to learn more.”
Another student summed up the emotional shift they felt, stating, “Even though I don't have a clear career path yet, my teachers encourage me to take my time. This makes me feel more at ease.” Through these testimonials, we see the positive impact Chuo High School has on its students, providing a nurturing foundation that encourages exploration and self-discovery.
This radio series aims not just to inform but to connect with middle and high school students across Japan, along with their parents. The goal is to illustrate what makes Chuo High School special while reaffirming the commitment to enrich educational activities.
Behind the Scenes
After the first recording, the energy was palpable as students gathered around Mr. Suzuki for a group moment. Their excitement was evident, showcasing the supportive community bond fostered within their school.
