This event, masterfully organized by Inspired by Iceland, aims to immerse attendees in the rich cultural landscape of Iceland through a variety of engaging events designed to showcase the best of Icelandic music, food, film, travel, and art.

This festival stands as a bridge connecting Iceland with North America, offering an opportunity for attendees to explore unique aspects of Icelandic culture. Partnering with local businesses and festival sponsors, the event will feature activities across notable venues such as Platform by JBF, Pianos NYC, and Scandinavia House. Most of the events are free and open to the public, although advance ticket reservations are encouraged to ensure entry.

Thursday, October 1

The event promises a gastronomic experience that highlights the country's distinct flavors. This gourmet dinner will take place at Platform by JBF from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM.

  • - Iceland Airwaves Off-Venue: Enjoy a free concert featuring performances by bands Inspector Spacetime and SCAM, alongside a set by DJ Hermigervill. Dive into the vibrant Reykjavik music scene at Pianos NYC starting at 7 PM.

  • - Ride NYC with Lauf Cycles: Join a 10-mile social bike ride through Brooklyn on Lauf's innovative all-road bike, celebrating design and mobility. The ride kicks off at Other Half Brewing Domino Park at 11 AM.
