Innovative Edutainment Experience Developed by JTB and Riders Publicity for Families

Collaborative Edutainment Experience Unveiled



JTB Corporation, headquartered in Shinagawa, Tokyo, and Riders Publicity, based in Chiyoda, Tokyo, have joined forces to develop an innovative edutainment content concept aimed at enhancing parent-child bonds while making learning fun. This initiative will be rolled out with an event at five housing exhibitions in Mie Prefecture, set to occur in August 2025.

Concept Development



At the heart of this partnership is a new project by JTB called “OYACONET-QUEST.” This initiative focuses on engaging children with a variety of experiences, places, and objects through quests designed to be both entertaining and educational. By fostering a mission-based approach, the project aims to provide families with an exciting new way to learn together. This approach not only offers families a transformative experience but also allows businesses to develop interactive content that connects with families, creating valuable touchpoints for parenting.

The development of this concept has been overseen by renowned edutainment producers, including Hidetaka Masakado and Yoshikazu Nakayama, leading experts in non-cognitive ability research. Their contributions ensure that the content is crafted in a way that both motivates children and facilitates learning between parents and their kids.

The inaugural edutainment event will take place at five selected housing exhibitions in Mie Prefecture from August 2 to August 31, 2025. The JTB Nagoya Education Division and the Riders Publicity Nagoya office are collaborating to create an engaging experience where families can embark on missions throughout model houses, promoting bonding and a positive experience at the exhibitions.
