Enhancing Sustainability Through Collaboration
F-Pico, a leading manufacturer of food containers, has joined forces with Yume Mart Kitakyushu and Sunlife to implement a robust store-to-store recycling initiative across 35 locations. This collaboration aims to establish stores as eco-leaders in their communities, contributing to a sustainable society.
Store-to-Store Recycling Initiative
Under this program, Yume Mart Kitakyushu and Sunlife work closely with local residents to gather used food trays through collection boxes installed at their stores. These trays are then processed by F-Pico, transforming them into valuable Eco Trays. By utilizing these recycled products in their stores, they successfully implement the store-to-store recycling model.
Environmental Events at Stores
To foster a sense of environmental responsibility, F-Pico and Yume Mart Kitakyushu are also planning various environmental events at their locations. These initiatives will provide customers with enjoyable opportunities to learn about the importance of recycling and reducing food waste.
Promoting Eco Store Cooperation
In order to inform more customers about these eco-friendly efforts and encourage participation in recycling, a poster declaring the “Eco Store Cooperation” will be displayed in the stores. This outreach is designed to raise awareness and increase community involvement in sustainability efforts.
