Vision Films Unveils VOD Release of 'Time Hoppers: The Silk Road'
On March 31, 2026, Vision Films will release the animated feature film,
Time Hoppers: The Silk Road, on US Transactional VOD platforms, following its impressive theatrical debut. This film, brought to life by Flordeliza Dayrit and Michael Milo under the MuslimKids.TV banner, made history as the first Muslim animated film to achieve a nationwide U.S. theatrical release.
The
85-minute 3D action-adventure film captivated audiences across
650+ screens in the U.S. and
31 in Canada, garnering over
$1 million within just two days (February 7-8). It settled at an impressive
#7 position in the U.S. box office rankings, and for one day, even claimed the top spot in per-screen average receipts.
Time Hoppers follows a group of four gifted children in the year
2050 who discover the incredible ability to time travel. They embark on a thrilling journey along the ancient Silk Road, tasked with protecting notable scientists from an evil alchemist who poses a threat to the future of modern science. The film features a unique cast of historical figures, including Ibn Al-Haytham, the pioneer behind the camera obscura, Al-Khawarizmi, the father of the algorithm, Maryam Astrolabi, an early innovator in astronomy, and Mansa Musa, the famed ruler and patron of learning.
