This pioneering lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery is the first of its kind to deliver sustained high voltage, maintain performance, and eliminate fire and smoke risks after thermal leakage. Designed specifically for the burgeoning electric mobility market in Europe, Shenxing Pro sets new benchmarks in safety, lifespan, range, and ultra-fast charging.

Addressing Europe's Electric Vehicle Challenges

The adoption of electric vehicles across Europe is gaining momentum. According to data from SNE and MarkLines, the penetration rate of EVs in Europe rose from 23% to 26% in the first half of 2025, with projections suggesting it may hit 29% by the year’s end. With comprehensive advancements in chemistry, mechanical structure, system, and control, CATL offers two key variants: the Shenxing Pro Long Range Battery and the Shenxing Pro Ultra-Fast Charging Battery. The Long Range variant stands out as the first LFP battery globally capable of achieving a WLTP range of 758 km and an unprecedented lifespan of 12 years or 1,000,000 km, showcasing significant improvements in both longevity and driving range.

Furthermore, this battery exhibits just a 9% degradation after the initial 200,000 km, making it ideally suited for Europe’s vehicle leasing markets. The Ultra-Fast Charging Battery can power up to 478 km of WLTP range in a mere 10 minutes (equivalent to 0.8 km per second), establishing itself as the fastest-charging LFP battery in Europe. It offers an outstanding acceleration rate, going from 0 to 100 km/h in only 2.5 seconds, even at a low charge of 20%. In extreme cold conditions, this battery still provides a commendable range of 410 km within 20 minutes at -20 °C. With a warranty of up to 10 years or 240,000 km, it redefines durability standards for ultra-fast charging.

Both variants utilize the NP 3.0 technology, recognized for its safety performance globally. It allows sustained high voltage for over an hour post-thermal leakage, ensuring that vehicles can maintain speed and safety during emergencies, thus enabling drivers to move away from danger without the risk of flames or smoke. As autonomous driving technology evolves, Shenxing Pro meets the rising demands of safety and risk response in vehicle design.

Shenxing Pro also incorporates CATL’s innovative Wave Cells, designed to enhance cooling and fixation from multiple directions, a first in the industry. This results in omnidirectional vibration suppression, increasing battery rigidity by 25% and doubling durability. By overcoming traditional limitations of Cell-to-Body (CTB) technology, Shenxing Pro achieves an impressive 76% efficiency in battery volume.
