Huawei Unveils Enhanced Xinghe AI Fabric 2.0 Solution at MWC 2026

At the 2026 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Huawei made a significant splash by unveiling its enhanced solution, Xinghe AI Fabric 2.0, alongside the industry's first commercial liquid-cooled switch, the CloudEngine XH9230-128DQ-LC, boasting an impressive capacity of 51.2 Terabits.

Arthur Wang, president of Huawei’s data center networks segment, addressed the audience, highlighting the rapid evolution of data center networks. He stated that the era has shifted from a focus on virtualization and cloud to a new phase emphasizing artificial intelligence. The Xinghe AI Fabric 2.0 is designed using a three-tier network architecture that includes AI Brain, AI Connectivity, and AI Network Elements. This architecture integrates four essential features:
1. Rock-Solid Architecture 2.0: This feature ensures three levels of high reliability through the AI Eagle-Eye Engine.
2. Digital Map StarryWing 2.0: Combined with NetMaster, it offers three levels of automation, enhancing operational efficiency.
3. Xinghuan AI Turbo 2.0: This includes network packet load balancing (NPLB) and network stream load balancing (NSLB) capabilities for better network performance.
4. iFlashboot 2.0: A rapid reboot feature that allows systems to restart in as little as 5 seconds.

These advancements collectively empower businesses to establish continuously available data center networks, fully equipped with AI and computational power. Further demonstrating its innovative abilities, Huawei also launched the CloudEngine XH9230-128DQ-LC, the first commercial liquid-cooled switch. This equipment not only provides 100% liquid cooling for optical modules but also achieves double the heat dissipation efficiency compared to industry standards.

Additionally, it supports deployments of up to eight switches per rack, effectively doubling rack utilization efficiency. To complement these offerings, Huawei introduced a complete series of StarryLink optical modules, available in 800 GE and 400 GE options, which exhibit exceptional reliability—two times higher than industry averages—and ultra-long transmission capabilities.

Huawei’s booth at the event featured a comprehensive portfolio of products, including modular switches from the CloudEngine XH16800 series with ports reaching up to 768 × 800 GE, as well as the CloudEngine XH9330 fixed switch and other models with an impressive number of ports. Among the flagship products displayed, the CloudEngine XH9230-128DQ-LC stands out as the industry's leading high-density liquid-cooled switch.

In its continued commitment to open collaboration, Huawei emphasizes ongoing innovation in data center networking technologies. The company is dedicated to championing smart improvements and fostering joint innovation with global customers and partners, all aimed at delivering greater value to industries and clientele worldwide.

As the digital transformation landscape keeps evolving, Huawei’s advancements signify a pivotal moment for businesses seeking to leverage the power of AI in their data centers, facilitating enhanced operational efficiency and service delivery.

With the tech industry rapidly advancing, Huawei’s initiatives at MWC 2026 underscore its role as a leader in providing cutting-edge solutions that not only meet current demands but also pave the way for future advancements in data center networking technologies.
